Título:Convergencia digital en el paraíso tecnológico: Claroscuros de una revolución

Resumo: Los autores analizan el grado de desarrollo, en la realidad, de la convergencia digital en el campo audiovisual, partiendo del estado actual de las infraestructuras tecnológicas y servicios implementados en el mercado norteamericano, líder mundial indiscutible. Aceptada la magnitud de la revolución tecnológica en curso, se analizan los desafíos generados por y para su implantación en los distintos ámbitos implicados. Se identifican las diferentes aplicaciones y los frenos a su generalización, así como las estrategias de los principales actores involucrados. A la luz de este diagnóstico, se identifican los principales interrogantes y se plantean los problemas a los que hay que hacer frente para jugar un papel activo en la configuración final de los resultados de esta revolución.

Resumo: Information technology is arguably an important tool for knowledge management, facilitating learning in a business context. However, the current use of information technology in this area often fails to take into account the multifaceted and dynamic nature of knowledge creation, knowledge transfer and learning. In order to address this issue, the paper proposes a dynamic learning model that is based on three complementary dimensions: knowledge management, technology-supported learning pedagogy and application integration. We argue that this multidimensional model illustrates how technology-supported learning can work as a value-added process that supports the different needs of learners and businesses.
